License & Purchase Terms

1. The product

AAF Everything is a desktop application for macOS (13 or newer, Apple Silicon) and Windows 10/11 that converts timelines between AAF, Premiere XML, FCPXML and FCPXMLD. All conversion happens locally on your computer; what the app sends over the network (licensing and an optional update check — nothing about your files) is described in the privacy policy.

2. Free demo

The demo is the complete application — every feature, unlimited conversions, no signup. Output is limited to the first 120 seconds of a timeline. It exists so you can check the result on your own material before spending anything; that check is part of how buying works here.

3. Purchase & payment

Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC as merchant of record: Lemon Squeezy handles the checkout, invoices, applicable VAT or sales tax and your payment data — we never see payment details. The license key arrives by e-mail after checkout.

4. License

One license per user, fair use across the machines you personally work on. Activation is one quick online check; after that the license lives on your machine and keeps working offline. It is re-validated online roughly once a week so that refunded or released keys stop working — being offline never locks you out. You can move the license between machines at any time — deactivate on one, activate on the other. Please don’t share, resell or publish license keys, and don’t circumvent the license or demo mechanism.

5. Updates

Updates within the current major version are free. On start the app asks once whether a newer version exists (an anonymous request you can switch off); it never installs anything by itself.

6. Refunds

Please try before you buy: the free demo is the complete application and converts your real projects, so you can confirm the result before spending anything. Because that check is available to everyone, we normally do not offer refunds on completed purchases. Mandatory consumer rights that cannot be excluded under the law of your country remain unaffected; any such statutory request is handled through Lemon Squeezy as merchant of record. And if something genuinely doesn’t work on your material, write us — we’d much rather fix the problem than leave you stuck.

7. Limits, warranty & liability

Interchange formats carry a subset of a session. The app flags known limits before you convert and writes a per-file report of what transferred and what could not — read it before a delivery depends on the output. To the extent permitted by law, the software is provided “as is”, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the license. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Trademarks

Third-party application names are used solely to describe compatibility; see the notice in the footer. AAF Everything is an independent product.

9. Changes to these terms

If these terms change, this page and the date above are updated. The terms that apply to a purchase are the ones published at the time of purchase.
